The Anime Club @ WSU is a bunch of anime fans who meet on campus twice a week to watch anime, read manga, swap fanfic info and gossip. Meetings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:00pm in Todd Hall room 230. Meetings usually last until around 9:30 on Wednesdays and around 10:00 or so on Saturdays.

Anime Secrets is hosting the second annual Halloween Cosplay Contest! Also returning to help us pull off this event is Funimation, who were our sponsors last year, and provided boxsets to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The contest is fairly simple. Email you in your cosplay no later then November 15th, 2009, and wait for results. You have nothing to lose but everything to gain!
I don't know if any of you other officers noticed but we are in Todd 130 every Wednesday and Todd 230 on Saturdays. Just thought i'd point that out to you all! See you tonight!!
On 10/27/08, it would have been a full year since the beginning of the African American Anime Fan group. How quickly the membership has grown to 1000+, which includes fans (a more adult oriented demographic), artist, as well as industries. Thanks for being a part of making that happen. Just thought I'd post a record of what we've watched so far, since the first showing wasn't exactly what we had planned ^_^ So far, the club has shown: - Bamboo Blade episode 1 - Black Blood Brothers ep. 1-3 - Moyashimon ep. 1 So, if you missed last week's meeting, please don't hesitate to come this week!

I realize we are on opposite sides of the country but would you like to be an active member of our coalition....basically all clubs can join to help each other until we become the American Otaku United!!! What a glorious day that will be.
Hey! I've uploaded my Sakura Con pictures, I recommend that you all do the same. I'm a pretty bad photographer but there are a few good pics... so share! hey are mostly pictures of our Gravitation group, plus Dan's costume, and random strangers. Yay for WSU anime club being well-represented at the con!
I think there's a possibility of it working if we didn't do it on a paren'ts weekend and we were able to actually advertise seriously for it for like a month in advance. Besides Sakura-Con is going to be advertising for us this year.
Doubt it'll happen in the next year (if ever), the last one was a huge time/money sink and I don't think anyone's too interested in going through it again anytime soon. I know I'm not.
