Anuran was started with the intent to write enjoyable, acoustic opuses. The music has proven to be enjoyable to many different folks. Anuran combines musicallity with lyrical depth and artistry. The sound can range from simplistic and catchy, to broad and progressive. The group is influenced by different styles and artists to produce fresh and interesting musicianship.
Anuran is composed of two members currently and is not in the market for more (maybe later). Frankie Bayne and Bruce Gonzales Jr. are the sole composers and performers and do so on a broad level of intruments.
The members of Anuran take their music seriously, but do so pragmatically. Anuran songs are written in the members' free time at their own pace. New songs will usually be home recorded and added to various hosting sites as they become available/recorded. One day if there is enough material worth recording Anuran may enter a professional studio. For now though, Anuran is just a humble local acoustic duo worthy of small get togethers and little laud.
