Ariel Hyatt founded Ariel Publicity 12 years ago as a traditional Music PR firm. The company went 100% digital to accommodate the swiftly changing media landscape in January of 2007 and since then she has not looked back. Cyber PR is currently handling campaigns for over 80 artists.
Teaching and educating musicians is her passion and a major part of her platform is to empower artists to take charge and get into action around their own online marketing. Several times a year, she leads sold-out workshops to musicians and music industry professionals looking to learn about Web 2.0 and online promotion in the new music business.
Her bi-monthly ezine “Sound Advice” has over 6,000 musicians and music professionals as subscribers and the list is growing steadily.
Ariel has written many articles and a book about online promotion, entitled Music Success in 9 Weeks, which came out in June 2008. She is a contributing blogger to New Music Ideas, and Kynd Music.
Ariel has spoken at countless music conferences over the years including SXSW, Philly Music Conference, NEMO, ECMA (Canada), A2A (Amsterdam),CMJ, BMI Music Panel Series, The Indie Music Forum and The Circle NYC.
Christina Durenstarted her music career as an intern at Island Def Jam where she spent a year in the Radio and Promotions/Publicity department. At IDJ she worked with Mariah Carey, Rihanna and Ne-Yo. From there she took her first real job at Shore Fire Media working campaigns for The Roots, and Heineken Red Star Soul Tour. Christina now acts as PR director and co-founder of Cyber PR Urban.

HELP PROMOTE ARIEL PUBLICITY- Put Our Banner On Your Page!
Ariel Publicityis an ALL DIGITAL PR Firm. We connect artists to blogs, Podcasters, Internet Radio Stations, Vlogs, Social Networking sites, zines, and we host concerts in Second Life. We currently proudly rep over 90 artists and counting. We will get your name out there.
Ariel Publicity in New York - 2001 and Beyond!-Our offices are located in the heart of Hells Kitchen, the newly gentrified (nary a junkie in sight) 'hood just west of the gorgeous and inviting Times Square! Our offices like our website are Purple and Orange and feature old gym lockers (each band we work with gets one) and an old school Ms. Pac Man. The record high score was set in 1998 by Chris from Spring Heeled Jack (now in the Bosstones). Aside from him, Ariel will kick anyone else's ass on it – it's in the blood.
Ariel Publicity in Colorado - Beautiful Boulder was the perfect place for a new company to launch due to the amazing talent that live in the area and the incredible Fox Theatre (where Ariel proudly served as the PR director for 5 1/2 years.) Boulder and the Fox were the best place to get a masters degree in touring bands. Ariel worked for several Colorado bands that helped to put Boulder on the map including Leftover Salmon, Sally Taylor, Zuba, and Acoustic Junction. For a few years she had a booking agency and handled a ton of Ska bands including The Toasters, Skinnerbox (both childhood favorites), Skavoovie and the Epitones, The Stubborn All Stars, The Slackers and The Skoidats.

Hey Ariel! Just wanted to say great job on the book! I'm now on my 3rd time reading it & learning it top to bottom. Combining it with all the advise from Derek Sivers, & also studying Craig Goldy's course is leading to a bulletproof approach to my even more unstoppable career! Thanks again, James
Thanks so much for the add.. I surely hope there was some music on my page that you enjoyed. I hope you have a Wonderful and Positive week! New Albums in My Snocap Store. Check them out! Download NoW! Tell A Friend! Take Care :)
I've been recommending your cd baby podcast interview to all the annoying bands that approach me with "Check out my music!!!!" they probably won't listen to the podcast, but that's why they'll never been famous and adored, either. I always tell aspiring journalists: One of you is going to be the person who actually listens and does something with the information. I got where I am by being the one person who followed the advice, not by being the smartest or most talented person in the room. My advice to you, Ariel, is keep up the good work, Serena
Hey Ariel- Took your advice, thought outside the box and got one of our artists,E.L.Kurtz booked for singing the National Anthem for Major League Baseball.Life's good and YOU ROCK!!! Thanks again. Robert Murphy,Vice-President Blue Stream Records www. bluestreamrecords. com
Hello new friend, Thanks so much for being a part of the story, here. I just signed the patent application a couple weeks ago for my new instrument, the Cellocaster, so it's now officially "patent pending." Also, our page has been in the top 50 on the myspace Americana charts for the past couple months, and is hopefully climbing! I will be accompanying Dan Bern on a tour of the East Coast/Midwest end of May/June, so check the calendar for a gig near you! Hope this finds you well. Have a great weekend! peace, love, and prosperity, Paul Kuhn Cellocaster, Violin, Vocals, Zrii Milwaukee via Aspen via D.C. USA Zrii page: www. myspace. com/zriipaul
