Creating a Roots Rock/Alternative Country sound, the members of The Moonshine Caravan have been called "old souls in young bodies". Born into musical families and growing up in Louisiana's Cajun music scene, they are no strangers to the stage.
Ashley Hayes began as a member of Cajun music's Feufollet at the age of ten before venturing off into the world of songwriting. Maegan Berard has been singing, playing guitar, and performing with many of Louisiana's greats since she was eight years old, only to tackle several other instruments, such as mandolin, piano, and bass. Chris Frugé is another who has been performing since a young age, joining the group after a stint with Houston-based rockers, Shulton's Youth. The reincarnation of 70's rock, Tori Guidry rounds off the band with hard blues frenzies and soft, melodically spoken guitar skills.
As a group, their diverse musical tastes melt together to form what is The Moonshine Caravan. Crediting influences ranging from Jimmy Page to Sheryl Crow, Bob Dylan to Heart, they share a passion for making music and simply having a good time. Penning tunes for broken hearts and the guy in the back of the barroom shouting randomly, its a show you dont want to miss.
