About me: All songs/Melody written by Atasi. Copyright 2003-2004,2007. I am a very friendly, sweet, and an outgoing girl. If one turns me the wrong way then I stand my right and don't have a problem telling people off!! My pet peeves include I don't like people who don't keep their word, people who make false promises, I can't stand liars , guys with egoistic attitudes, and I like to tell someone to do something once I don't like to repeat myself.
I very rarely have bad days in life, I'm considered a very lucky girl if anything else. In fact till this day I mentor my friends when they have bad days, I'm extremely positive and confident!!!! I also have strong belief in god, believe it or not I always go to the Temple every Sunday you have to make time for god and you'll have a great life!!! I have lived in 5 different states in the U.S. My childhood comes from California living there a total of 12 years. I also lived in these other states as well: Tennessee, Texas, and New Jersey. I have a lot of small town and big town experience. I started singing at the age of 4. I started writing full songs at the age of 11. "Music is my golden age in life without it I'd be no-one". I started listening to bands such as Kiss, Metallica, Black Sabbath at around age 10, no my parents never knew the dillies about this! At age 14-18 I hung out at several venues in Dallas, TX. my sister and I quickly became Poison fans!! I am the only "Crue" fan in the family. Till this very day I totally dig these two bands!!! I bought my first guitar at 19 years old. I just recently went back to that place where I bought my pre-owned black electric Squier Fender Strat 15 yrs. ago and it turns out that everyone still remembers me after all these years!!! That's also the day I met Lita Ford , my car broke down, I convinced the tow truck driver guy to give me a ride over to the trade show and he did cause I had to get my first guitar, and I got a ride back home in a black corvette, it turns out the guy owns a tavern 30 minutes where I lived at the time. During that time my very first influence to play guitar comes from Megadeth. My friends at the time and I used to view hours and hours of video footage of Megadeth. My friends would put on a long black wig and a bandana on me and we would all do jam sessions. I was at the time doing my Associates degree in Business Administration and was a Manager in trainee for Color Tile. The two types of people I get along best till this day are CEO's and Musicians. I love intelligent rockers!! I have met over 100 celebrities coming from all walks of life. Some of the more influential ones include Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, Jon Bon Jovi, all members of Scorpions, Bret Michaels, all members of Megadeth, the legendary Ravi Shankar, all members of UFO, Taylor Hawkins, Brian May, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osburne, Enuff Z-Nuff, Peter Criss, L.A. Guns, Great White, Marty Casey, Vince Neil and Tommy Lee, Johnny Bench, Ernie Banks, Tiger Woods, Dan Hampton, and many Chicago Bears Players and the list goes on and on and on.
An ideal evening for me with a special someone would be to go dine together at an ethnic restaurant , come back and watch a special movie we both enjoy or watch his favorite TV program together , get a special drink of our choice, and cuddle up with each other. Believe me it don't get better than this! If I choose to drink I only pretty much prefer these types of drinks: Ice cold Corona with the lime off course, Heineken, Jack and Coke, or just ice cold Pepsi.
You know guys the "American Dream" is really to be your own boss! I decided this year "2005" it is gonna start to happen and I will persist on it to take off by the end of this year to come up with a product to offer my clients or a service and go to work for myself. "Atasi and Associates" was a business plan I started in "1993" and it was in the back burner all these years. I was blessed in working with CEO's and know how it is like to work 12 hour days!! In fact I know how it is to run a company it's really all common sense. In fact at one time in "1993" I was doing resume's for College students and sending out faxes. One rocker from "My Space" one of my friends here actually saw my office that year!
I currently enjoy meeting new people. I graduated from Grad school with an MBA. I am a big fan of eighties music and love the local Chicago music scene. Yes, we do have a lot of bands loaded with a lot of talent!!! I enjoy hanging out with friends over the weekends and love to try different ethnic foods and travel. I currently am an unsigned artist and write my very own music. I was the former Tour Manager to the band "Posin" they currently are not together they were a very sexy eighties style music band at the international level.
On a musical level I have two albums to date one self titled "Atasi" all songs and melodies written by Atasi copyright 2003, 2004 and my most recent album "HumanNation" featuring eight tracks all recorded at Paragon Studio, Chicago IL all songs and melodies written by Atasi copyright 2009.
