Awake In America is a national non-profit (501c3) focused on sleep and sleep-related issues, such as insomnia, social-driven sleep issues (working late, partying, wanting to catch the late-late show, etc.), shift work, and sleep sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, cataplexy, among others.
In addition to the many programs and activities that keep us busy, we also have two relief programs, the Sleep Study Relief Program and the xPAP Donation and Relief Program, that are designed to assist U.S. citizens who with inadequate or no health insurance, or don't have the financial means necessary to obtain the services.
As a non-profit (501c3) organization, Awake In America relies on unrestricted corporate sponsorships and the generous donations of individuals from around the United States, Canada, and other countries, to fund our programs. As an all-volunteer organization (including our full-time staff), Awake In America has no salary or other employee expenses to pay, so 100 percent of all donations and corporate sponsorships are applied to funding of operations.
