About me: Long Time Coming
Meet Chris, Archie, D.R., three friends who turned their passion for motorcycles into a business. After working out of D.R’s garage for several years fine tuning their skills, the friends decided to take the leap and open B.A.R. Customs. Although coming from different backgrounds, their varied talents blended together to truly provide the best service for their customers.
Chris grew up around bikes and hot rodding, learning paint from his dad Jerry. Working in a couple of custom bike shops and dealerships over the years, Chris has expanded and fine tuned his knowledge of v-twins and fabrication. Dave or D.R. as he is known, is an accomplished machinist and programmer, also grew up working on and painting muscle cars with his dad, Pops. Pops also helps out the guys regularly in the shop, also creating their custom leather seats. Archie started building and painting muscle cars with his dad John at a young age, sticking with it and has been an ASE master technician for over 10 years. Picking up the v-twin bug from D.R. several years ago, Archie lends his expertise in engines, wiring and fuel injection.
If you are looking for a dealership’s high prices and long waits, serving cappuccino and cowboy hats this is not the place for you. However if you’re looking for experienced, honest priced repairs, parts, service or fabrication work, B.A.R. Customs is the place for you. Even stepping into their shop reminds you of chopper shops of days past. No walls hiding the mechanics and bikes from the customers, just the guys doing what they do best. Cranking out great service and building unique bikes. Check out their Web site www.barcustoms.com for some of their past and ongoing projects.
Hope you guys are doing good... Need to make a trip to hang out sometime soon... Are you having a party for year two??? If so let us know so we can make it....
