Dj's include the likes of Dj Who?,Kool Herc, Marley Marl,Kool Dj Red Alert, Dj Scratch, Jazzy Jeff, Grand Master Flash, Caz, Ike Love, Funk Master Flex, Maseo, Dj Clue just to name a few.
Sound System Influences include the following: the King Sound KING ADDIES,Tony Matterhorn, Bass Odyssey, Renaissance,StoneLove,BloodSport, Basement Productions,Black Chiney.

About Basic Image Hi-Definition Sound Of The New School
Basic Image Hi Definition -
Established 1998 in Queens by Shocase and the Apologist with the dream of bringing hip hop to a higher level. Due to unfortunate circumstances the Apologist and Shocase parted ways. The Apologist established himself in Haiti and Shocase remained in NY. Shocase than took the concept of Basic Image and formed the Sound System w/ along w/ DJ45 and Matt Swade. Basic Image than became a Mobile Sound System designed to provide the best in musical entertainment. Along w/ their partners in music Bassment Productions they formed an alliance specializing in all forms of music from Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae, Dancehall, Calypso and Soca.
In 2004, Dj45 parted ways with Basic Image. Thus spawing a new era, Matt Swade help create Basic Image Studio's where many artist have come to voice speacials from Hip Hop, R&B and Dancehall.
Now in 2007 Basic Image has seen the likes of two new members. Lenky Hype an Emcee/Selector versatile in dancehall, rockers, hip hop & r&b. Along with Finsta the sound engineer more to come so stay tuned as history is begins to write itself!
