BEOWOLF PRODUCTIONS is an extreme music distribution label that has been supporting the underground music scene world wide since 1994! Carrying tons of CDs from bands all over the world playing Heavy Metal, Power Metal, Progressive Metal, Thrash Metal, Speed Metal, Death Metal, Black Metal, Doom Metal, Gothic, Industrial, Hardcore, Punk, Grindcore, Splatter, Gore & more!!! BEOWOLF PRODUCTIONS started out as management company called BLACK BEOWOLF MANAGEMENT back in the late 80's early 90's. This was run by Scott Black & myself. We managed many local bands in our area, booking shows & selling their merchandise. Through this we started distrbuting other bands that would do shows with our bands merchandise as well. Once Scott left I took over everything & eventually went with just the distribution label & changed the name to BEOWOLF DISTRIBUTION, which was in 1994! I released 5 compilations through my distribution label that highlighted some of the bands I was carrying at the time. I was also singing in a band called FAMILY OF FREAKS (1994-1997) at the time so I changed the name again. This time to BEOWOLF PRODUCTIONS, because now it was more than just a distribution label. Once my band folded in 1997 I started my magazine (more info below). To this day both the label & magazine are still going strong!
TREATS FROM THE UNDERGROUND! is an extreme music webzine that has been covering the underground music scene since 1997! The magazine was started back in 1997 when my band FAMILY OF FREAKS folded. I was feeling an emptiness that needed to be filled so I started the magazine. The magazine originally started out as a print magazine under the name SATAN'S CANDY BASKET, named after a song I wrote while in my band. Wanting to expand my coverage of more than a few styles I eventually changed the name to TREATS FROM THE UNDERGROUND! After the 9-11-01 attacks on the United States, money became very tight & I couldn't afford to put out anymore print issues. October 31st 2001 saw the launch of the webzine, which is much more than I could ever do with the print version. There were 6 total print issues (4 under the S.C.B. name & 2 under the T.F.T.U. name). They are all sold out but you may be able to find some on the web somewhere. With in the webzine you can find tons of Interviews, Music Reviews, Movie & Video Reviews, Contest, Links to tons of sites (Bands, Labels, Webzines & Other Cool sites), Distro & Label Contact Addresses & lots more!
