Welcome to the Black Swan Festival myspace!
This festival is organized by true fans of music, we have a passion for it. We are not the 'suits' of the industry so we aim to keep tickets prices to a minimum, to ensure you don't need to re mortgage your home to attend. We believe that it shouldn't cost a fortune to see you favorite bands and to have fun, so you won't be ripped off I can guarantee. Burgers will NOT cost a years salary, drinks you buy will NOT cost a bomb, you will NOT need to go into your savings to have a great day at this event! Black Swan Festival will be held at Bath Racecourse on Septmber 27th 2008 from 10am through until midnight.

Business wishing to have a stall at BLACK SWAN FESTIVAL can contact us blackswanfestival@live.co.uk to request an application form.
This is an all ages event. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. ID may be required. Tickets for children under 12 years old are £17.50, Parents must show proof of age upon collection of wristbands on the day from the box office.
Disabled customers are welcomed at Black Swan Festival, suitable toilets and viewing platforms will be on site.
We encourage lift sharing and use of public transport to try to save the enviroment that little bit more. It will also save your pennies too!
Camping is not available this year unfortunately. Bath has many hotels and B&B's to accomodate.
Don't forget, its summer time make sure you bring the essentials such as a sun hat and suncream, we don't want people passing out from sunstroke or leaving early because of burns, we want you to enjoy the day to the max! Best to bring something to keep you warm too, as British weather is so unpredictable. Bring enough cash and/or your card, running out of money is not a good idea!
Alcohol bought off site is not permitted, people caught with alcohol that is not purchased at this event will have it confiscated and are liable to be removed from site and not allowed re-entry. So don't mess up folks, were keeping our prices down so you don't have to sneak beers in!
If you are caught with illegal drugs you will be reported to the police, don't take any risks guys, its not worth it.
Items considered to be a potential offensive weapon will be confiscated. You will be searched upon arrival, its a standard practice for events like this, so if you don't want to loose your belongings, don't bring them!
Food and drinks will be served throughout the day. We will have a number of food stalls to get your chops around! REAL ALE will be served all day long, yes proper beer folks!! Other alcohol will be served also. Something to remember though, don't get wasted, it will ruin your day.
Market stalls will be there for your pleasure, to look buy, get pierced, whatever you fancy!
Litter bins are provided so please use them, we're trying to keep this as green as possible so to your part too folks!
