Sounds Like
what you'd get if you Krazy Glued together, at random, some of the various elements found among: Spinal Tap, Boston, Barenaked Ladies, Guster, Eve 6, Ben Folds, Elliott Smith, Rush, They Might Be Giants, Nirvana, Fountains of Wayne, Tori Amos, that annoying freak who didn't speak much and sat behind you in Econ, and a leaf blower.
In the fine and longstanding tradition of many self-described "crazed geniuses"--who lived their lives mainly by locking themselves in basements and/or attics only to produce the finest contributions to their respective scientific or artistic fields--Brian M. Weidemann The Band has pushed the envelope of independent music since the dawn of the century. Unfortunately for him, it's postage due.
With his growing arsenal of guitars and an increasing array of studio equipment, Brian has nevertheless been relegated toward the blunt base of the cutting edge, instead relying on his witty, lyrical sense and evident "mad skillz" on guitar and piano--combined however with the finest MIDI sequencing this side of Super Mario Bros.--to help carry his music through the "releases" of all nine studio albums.
Since the downfall of mp3.com and their convenient CD-on-demand pressing system, Brian's sales have suffered, but not by much, since the sales were never impressive to begin with.
From old "classics" like This Song (Is Not About Julie) and Namesake Composition to later "hits" like Filler Track and Blow Me Wendy, Brian has, through his songwriting, persisted against, frankly, about every body part of adversity. His most recent project, Scantily Clad Singularity, is the next step in his imaginary staircase to the top. He's still wondering what it lies at the top of.

I cannot wait to hear your brilliance, as it is for me. And for you. And for everyone else to enjoy. I think we're both lucky because we were both looking for each other for a long time and I'm so glad our paths finally crossed and the stars aligned. <3
After several attempts to download your song the download continually dropped after 2 to 3 minutes, and letting it play on the player while on dial up sucks out loud, I finally got to listen to your song. And me loves it. Love it even more cause it's kinda hittng close to home right now. Smiley face.
