Books
At the moment...the favorite is, you guessed it: "WHEN I FALL." What'd you expect? So how do you get your hands on a copy??? Visit www.barbmcclatchy.com. Currently reading "Lisey's Story," Stephen King. Otherwise, anything Dan Brown (Angels & Demons was better than DaVinci, I thought), Stuart Woods, James Patterson, Grisham (early stuff..."The Painted House" actually inspired me back in 2001 to do better than that attempt... so thanks for the inspiration, John!) Specific works I loved: Kiterunner, Lovely Bones, The Notebook, Memoirs of a Geisha. I'll try anything, although I tend to write suspense.
Heroes
Mel Hawthorne (the window-washing hero of When I Fall), and in real life, my husband, who puts up with it all...
About me: Sometimes the little guy CAN fight City Hall, and Corporate America too!
WHEN I FALL is a suspense novel that follows window washer Mel Hawthorne as he stumbles across something on his blue-collar travels that a pharmaceutical company will do anything to keep quiet. While Mel pursues the case that Philly's finest refuse to open, WHEN I FALL is subtly examining the differences between the haves and the have-nots—in this case, the corporate robot in the Ivory Tower and the unassuming window washer who rappels down the building to provide him a clear view of the river.
The book is available through www.barbmcclatchy.com. Visit my official site to read more, purchase, or link to AMAZON through the site to order your copy today!
I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
Who I'd like to meet: ...Anyone who finds the above interesting. And interesting people in general. I met Ed Robertson of BNL before publication, so if you see him, tell Ed that WHEN I FALL is finally in print!!!
Happy Holidays! Hope you’re enjoying the season so far. Seems it has been quite some time since I spent some time on Myspace. I have been busy altering my website at www. tonycowger. com to reflect my newest efforts in the freelance and ghost writing markets and focus less on my own novel. Anyway, I hope the rest of your year is wonderful and that the new year holds all the abundance you want. If you or someone you know is in need of some writing help please send them my way at www. tonycowger. com. (For any help I receive from my Myspace friends I am offering a 10% finders fee to say thank you for helping out a friend so be sure to write and let me know in case your friend forgets to tell me. If you hire me yourself, that 10% would be taken off what you pay so, either way, you win.) I have experience in writing sales ads/presentations, non-fiction and, of course, fiction. Thanks and happy holidays!
Just wanted to give you a heads up that my latest forensic crime thriller, Freezer Burn, is coming out June 3! It will be available in bookstores everywhere next week, and it’s available for preorder on Amazon right now! I'll be doing a bunch of events in and around Philadelphia. For details, see my profile. Thanks for the friendship!
Hey there! Your absence has been noticed and I hope all is well with you. Not much new here - other than home remodeling and dying to put my kayak in the water! Are you working on another book?
