B-Boy, a.k.a., Billy Younger...a name reminiscent of gun fighters from the wild, wild west. Well, we arent in the old wild west now but nobody bothered to tell B-Boy. Spitting lyris like a gunslinger, you set them up hell shoot them all down, the good, the bad, and definitely the ugly. Those who have heard this incredible rapper have described his style as laid back, east coast smooth. Some credit for this style goes to rappers of days gone by that inspired him. Those credited include, The Fat Boys, Furious Five. Curtis Blow, Rakim, Melle Mel, Ice-T, Kool G Rap, Scarface, KRSone, and LL Cool J.
B-Boy feels his honesty first approach toward lyric writing is a product of Lufkin Texas, the small town where he grew up, although he was born in Northwest Houston's Acres Homes. He put his skills to work in Texas clubs like Mohogany Caf, Club Cardis, Dreams, Club Suede, The Vault, The Matrix, The Bodega, The House and The Grasshopper; developing his free flow style , live and direct the way it should be. He toured with The Lost Boys and Soul 4 Real, and performed with Trina Broussard, Big Mello, Devin the Dude, MJG, Bido, John Jabb Broussard, JoeJoe, and many others. B-Boy is currently enjoying radio air play in New York .. Cee, the Bronx's Walking L. Show, and other underground stations across the country. High Noon is B-Boys time and right now its ringing twelve oclock all around the world. Run for the hills, theres a new Sheriff in town and his name is, Billy Younger, a.k.a B-Boy.
