I am into my family's genealogy. I am a member of the SCV, (Sons of Confederate Veterans, Captain Henry C. Semple Camp 2002). www.SempleCamp2002.com The blue flag on my background is my Great-Great-Grandfather's Regimental flag. I have discovered that I am the proud son of at least 3 brave Confederate Soldiers.(thanks to some of my relatives in California) She has traced our family back to 2 of the wives of King Henry VIII. (Ann Bolyn & Katherine Howard) I am also a Civil War Re-enactor. My unit is the 31st Ala. Inf. Reg't., Co. G (Confed.) & the 17th Iowa Inf. Vols., Co. G (Union). Because of my health, I cannot take the field so right now I am taking a break form it...We just lost our Beloved Captain, Bobby Bawcum. Bobby is now helping Robert E. Lee in His Heavenly army...Rest In Peace my dear friend!
