the 7th Sons were formerly known as the Night-Creatures. The Night-Creatures CD was a singular release, and featured Jim Jensen on guitar, keyboards, & vocals, Shige Fukuyama on lead guitar, Paul Lange on bass guitar, Tom Bellone ..boards & vocals, Elden Lisalsa on saxophone, guitar, & vocals and Bill McFadden on drums & vocals. The CD received some attention locally, and overseas, where at least two of the cuts, Those Green Eyes, and The Things You Say, got airplay on blues radio stations (even though they are technically not blues songs) in two separate geographical areas in France.

Influences
Honestly, there so many musical influences for all the members of the band, that it would require a lot of space to cover them all. The list of my individual influences is quite lengthy, in fact. However, we all grew up during a very musically diverse era, the 50's through the present, and I think the prime era of that diversity came during the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. I'm not sure that we have the same level of diverse choices today, and that means that music listeners today may not have that richness of sounds available to them anymore. But, there are still great, new artists out there, struggling to get some great music out to you, so get out there and support some live music, and help keep what's left of that diversity alive!!
Just to cite a few of my own drumming influences: Charlie Watts, Ringo Starr, Frank Beard, John Bonham, Ian Paice, and many of the incredible and excellent Motown and funk drummers of those times, as well as the overall richness of the British Invasion players. There are so many others that I have listened to intently and borrowed from over the years, but the guys I listed stick out foremost in my mind as the biggest influences for me early on in my musical development, and have stayed there all along. Yet, the band and I are still listening and learning from some of the younger bands coming out (i.e. personal favorites such as Collective Soul, Jet, & the Foo Fighters to name just a few), and it's always interesting to see what new stuff the newer bands are coming up with. Music is a lifelong journey. Now Dive Into It!

Who Are The 7th Sons?
The '7th Sons'
are an Orange County-based band, south-east of L.A.. We're a rock outift with roots deeply entrenched in rock and rockin' blues styles.
Our previous incarnation was called the Night-Creatures, and we produced a self-titled CD in August of 2006. The CD is available online on CD Baby at
www.cdbaby.com/cd/nightcreatures. The disc features 8 original
compositions, and one cover of a Robert Johnson tune, Walkin’ Blues. The Night-Creatures appeared with
several traditional blues acts, but their music does not fit strictly within
that genre. Many of the groups’ songs on this first CD have sprung from a
variety of rock, blues, Latin, and jazz influences, and the band’s music and
performances held a broad appeal for a wide-range of audiences and age
groups. In 2007 and 2008, the band continued their push to lend more of a harder-edged rock feel to their sound, and appeared with many more acts that had more rock leanings. As an extension of their effort to recreate their sound and image, they changed their band name in Jan 1st 2009 to the 7th Sons, developing a much edgier sound, with more on-stage antics. We're ready to make 2009 an even better year for the 7th Sons!
The 7th Sons are: Tom
Bellone (Hammond B3

We've already begun recording material for a new CD, or possibly several mini-CDs (we're still deciding that issue) and are adding tracks and will start mixing the first of the new recordings very soon.
