Read about BioTour adventures and view pictures in the BioTour Vagabond Journal.

BioTour is a journey that aims to enliven the sustainable energy movement, while exploring the depths of America—the people, land, and culture.

BioTour educates about global warming, peak oil and sustainable energy, bringing people together for discussion, exploration and celebration. The BioTour project demonstrates a different way of living and conceiving of energy, one in which human civilization exists in balance with the natural world.

Co-directors Ethan Burke and Alan Palm purchased the BioTour Bus in August of 2006 and were inspired to expand BioTour into a year-round full-time project traveling to all 48 of the continental United States. BioTour added two new crew members, Fernando Ausin, Publicist and Booking Coordinator, and Jenny Sherman, Photographer in the Fall 2007, and most recently expanded to two vegetable oil powered buses and 13 crew for their current project, "BioTour on the Campaign Trail".

- Book the tour.

- Climb aboard and join in the adventure as an honorary crew member.

- Read our blogs,"BioTour on the Campaign Trail" and "BioTour Vagabond Journal" for tales from the road.

UNIVERSITY FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

Two prominent land owners in the Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica have agreed to donate a site for the University for a Sustainable Future. A formal announcement of this donation was made at an international news conference held near the Papagayo Peninsula on September 5, 2007. This was followed by a formal reception honoring the work of Dr. Jane Goodall.

Your donation will help build the University for a Sustainable Future. Funds are urgently needed for master plan development, facility construction, program development, and more.

My co-worker at Amnesty International suggested someone submit an article to a NY based magazine called "Good Magazine" (goodmagazing.com) which is fairly popular among NGO types. She thinks you guys could totally be a feature article. Good luck filming today!

Hey Ethan,
Just got your mailing list message...keep rollin across the states spreadin the consciousness and knowledge!

I have to say that hanging with you and learning about the process on the way to Priceless inspired me and my band to get a diesel bus to convert to veggie. We just got a huge 35' transit bus that we're going to turn into a tour bus.

Thanks for the inspiration!

Lots of love and support :)
