In 2007, I opened my grandparent's house as a place for local history, heritage, art and music making traditions. I paint, draw and carve based on family art forms and cultural expressions of the Pacific Northwest. I perform music on my great-grandfather's violin, contemporary Irish hand drum, guitar and voice, musical saw, and Native American hand drum. I have written songs in the Lushootseed Language of the Puget Sound which are sung during tribal canoe journeys. There are 15 songs out there used in tribal ceremonies that came to me in my grandparent's house. I compose original music and, my music comes from the place I live. I enjoy time with my family, raising my two children and earning a living. I am open to new people and enjoy making new friends. I sincerely hope that my life and efforts make this community a better place to live.
