Mary Bomar (Cismont, Virginia) and Bob Ritter (Indianapolis, Indiana) met in 1989 in Nashville, Tennessee and since then have been performing their brand of contemporary folk / pop music. With a fine tuned show that can only come from over 20 years of performing together, Mary & Bob combine a list of strong original material and classic cover tunes, and are known for their exceptional blend of vocal harmony, intricate guitar arrangements and easygoing stage manner. Though their music is strongly influenced by artists like Joni Mitchell and Dan Fogelberg, a Bomar & Ritter show combines a variety of styles including country, blues, folk-rock, children's songs and even old standards - in other words, an act which appeals to all ages.
