Stu's Interests
General
Bouldering, rock climbing, hill walking, mountaineering, Manchester City F.C., distance running (primarily 10K and half-marathon), music, learning to play bluegrass banjo, comics and graphic novels (especially work by Simon Bisley), playing bass guitar, skateboarding, gigs, badgers, movies, the Mighty Boosh, kodiak bears, mountains, shootin' people on Xbox Live, that fluff you get in your belly button (why's it always grey?)
Rock, metal, punk, ska, rock-a-billy, bluegrass, folk punk, rock n roll, swing, jazz...pretty much anything really.
Take the quiz: What original member of Guns N' Roses are you most like? Duff McKagan Oh! You are a sexy beast ain't you! Even in your 40's now, you still have legions of young adoring female fans! You inspire may to play bass, your talents are unstopable! Drums, Vocals, Lead Guitar, Bass...where does it stop! Or does it just mean you have even MORE hidden talents?! Did I forget to mention that you somehow believe that dogs cannot talk?! Newsflash! Your best friend (Slash) has voices inside his head, play along with it!
Tough one this. I like a huge range of genres. Got a soft spot for cheesy action movies eg, Die Hard, The Rock, Predator etc and most things Clint related, especially the Eiger Sanction, possibly the ultimate 70's cheese-fest. Also love comedy films, both sophisiticated and dumb, but possibly the funniest film in my opinion is Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Will Ferrell = Awesome. But, there are too many good movies to mention and too little time/ inclination to list them all. Oh, and anything starring the hardest man on earth, Sir Chuck of Norris.
Ron Burgundy gives you a ticket to the gun show.

Television
The Mighty Boosh, Scrubs, Spaced, Family Guy, American Dad, The Simpsons, Black Books, The Green Wing, Alan Partridge, Nathan Barley, The Day Today, Brass Eye and anything else that makes me laugh.
Books
China Mieville, Michael Marshall Smith, Jeff Noon, anything cyber-punk or contemporary fiction, comics and graphic novels, climbing/ mountaineering biographies
Joe Brown (legendary British climber), Andy Cave (another legendary British climber), Ben Moon (yes, you guessed it, legendary British climber/ boulderer), Chris Sharma (US climber/ boulderer). Colin Bell (M.C.F.C. player from 60s-70s), too many musicians to list, anyone who can make me laugh until I cry, and anyone who has invented something or discovered something that has helped the world and progressed humanity.
About me: About me eh? A tough one that. Where to start? Well, I'm 25 and live in Mancester (as it says just to the left) with my girlfriend Gemma (that's her below. Look, just down there.). She's ace, although doesn't make me enough tea. Anyhoo, Manchester is a quality place to live, good pubs, bars, restaurants, shops, easy reach of the Peak District and Lake District where I can indulge in one of my favourite hobbies, rock climbing/ bouldering. Living in Manchester also means I can watch the greatest football team in all the world. Yes, you guessed it, I'm a Man City supporter. Well, there's only two teams in Manchester, Man City and Man City reserves.
Music-wise I love metalcore, sleazy rock, ska, punk, ska-punk, punky ska, folk punk, cheesy classic rock, glam, rockabilly, bluegrass...
Anyway that's enough about me. Tell me about yourself...
"Wocka! Wocka!"
You're the life of the party, and you love making people crack up.
If only your routine didn't always bomb!

Hi Stu! Came across your profile along with Martin's and Keren's when looking up Congleton..... can you believe it's 10 years almost since we left Heathfield?
Didn't really speak to you much at school but thought I'd say hello anyway. I lived in Manchester for 6 years myself, but in Melbourne now which is cool, like a bigger Manchester... and hotter!
