What’s a BUCKLETTE you ask? A BUCKLETTE is an adorable little device, a gadgety-type of thingy for a special kind of girl. What type of girl? Simply stated, a girly-girl. A guy’s girl. Smart. Athletic and independent. She’s a little bit of rock ‘n roll and sugar ‘n spice; as naughty as she wants to be and quite the little lady when she has to be. She’s got a passion for flashin’ and a heart of gold. She’s a rebel with a GOOD cause and can accomplish whatever she wants. She’s a modern-day superhero and her secret weapon is the BUCKLETTE.

The BUCKLETTE is a secure and compact case that holds a lipstick, key, credit card and ID and comes in two versions: a belt buckle with a belt or a clip-on, no belt needed. But it’s waaaayyyyyy more than that. You see the BUCKLETTE's story is like a fairy-tale, sans the cheesy prince and the clichéd princess. It goes a little something like this:

Once upon a hot summer night, the club was jumpin’ and the music was pumpin’. Our main character Sandy and some of her girls were bustin’ a move, gettin’ on their groove and doing what fabulous girls do…just having fun. All of a sudden, the night came to a screeching halt. One of her friends realized her purse was gone. Now I know what you’re thinking...the horror!

Imagine the pain of losing a loved one like Louie, Coach or Kate. Having them unmercifully taken from you. Your gorgeous, expensive bag filled with all your necessities and luxuries: your keys, your rock star sunglasses, your phone, cash and ID never to be seen again! Well, Sandy said “NOT ME” and off she went to her think-tank nestled in a high-rise in the sky.

She quit her day job to attend to the more important matters of saving the vivaciously-vulnerable and disco-distracted from purse snatchers and thievery. Fueled by necessity, inspiration and a love of design, the BUCKLETTE, a revolutionary alternative to a purse was born. Three years later, Sandy’s little baby was locked and loaded and ready for release so that no girl would ever have to feel that pain and loss again. Nor any man be taunted and tormented by the dreaded question “Dear, hold my purse please?”

Designed to be an alternative to a purse when you only need the essentials, the BUCKLETTE is made in the USA from a recyclable, lead-free metal. The original BUCKLETTE is designed with a floral motif inspired by Chloris, the Greek goddess of flowers and the personification of spring. Embossed onto an industrial-looking case, it’s both girly and edgy. It’s got some weight to it so it stays in place and you know it’s there. But it’s a heck-of-a lot lighter than that big, heavy bag you’re carrying around and because you’re wearing it, you don’t feel the weight.
