I ask the same when you get on the guest lists for the clubs in San Diego, Vegas or Los Angeles.
I don't get paid for this. This is solely so my friends who have the casting calls and guest lists know where the referrals are coming from.
I also have a blog that shows what is going on in the Gaslamp, Los Angeles and Vegas and how to get on the guest lists at multiple hot clubs.
For instance, usually the clubs are $20 (and sometimes more for special events) if you're not on the guest list. If you're on the guest lists, it's a discounted rate.
I list events for clubs such as SIN, On Broadway, Aubergine, Belo, Red Circle, Confidential, Heat, Sidebar, Stingaree and more. It's my hobby.
I have a lot of the promoters on my friend list and since they usually spam, it saves you from having to deal with it because I post a single blog encompassing the guest lists.
