The very latest Singer Songwriter Showcase event scheduled for Thursday October 29th @ Stage 84 in Davie, is shaping up very nicely. Jon Singer has come on board with his band GSR so I'm looking forward to hearing their stuff and Giovy Jimenez has also agreed to perform which will be a treat for all of you who make it over to Davie that night. Naturally I'm planning on playing myself. The show will begin at 8:00 pm and run untill about 1:00 am. Should be a fun night so show up if you're in the neighborhood and bring friends.
Hello everyone, This is Shawn's cousin Susie. Sadly, he asked me to communicate to his top 40 friends on his and Chris' page that Chris passed away 4 weeks ago today at the age of 34. As all of you know from their story which aired on Intervention on A&E, Chris fought against his addiction to alcohol for many years, but in the end, he decided to end his life and lifelong struggle. Shawn, along with both sides of families and friends are devastated, but most of all, Shawn is because he found him. Please pray for him, he is taking it very hard. He also asked me to convey that you honor Chris and his life by TELLING his story. Tell everyone you know to view their page so that they can see what an amazing couple they were and so that this doesnt have to happen to anyone else...ADDICTION DOES KILL! Honor Chris by saying something on your page or theirs. Since the services, we have received thousands of messages from people all over the world that shared different ways that thier story on Intervention on A&E touched or changed their lives.
