I just got out of the hospital yesterday. They admitted me on Sunday night for a suicide attempt, my third and most serious. I was unconscious for two days straight and barely awake for the third day. When I woke up early yesterday morning, I had an IV in each hand and they had a catheter in me. Everyone told me that when I woke up the day before, I kept babbling gibberish and thinking that I was talking when I wasn't saying anything. On the fourth day, I was finally able to construct sentences instead of just a few words here and there.
I was so ashamed of what I did, especially knowing that my really close friends have been through so much drama because of my depression. I don't even want to tell most of them, but I'm sure they'll figure it out eventually.
