The CalAmericana Association represents California's legacy and leadership in roots Americana music. California is first in roots Americana from acoustic to electric including bluegrass, old-time and twanger-songwriters, country, alt-country, rockabilly and points between. Unfortunately, the world doesn't know this.
CalAmericana's mission is to build community and let the world know that California is first in Americana music and has been since the Gold Rush. The association's near-term objective is to build audiences by making it easy for Californians know where their rotts Americana neighbors can be found.
