Cass Hunter - vox/mandolin.
On the album, Billy Hillman and I had help from all of the following wonderful musicians: Scott Nutter - upright bass, Lee Garner - harmonies/accordion/harmonica/keys/etc., Lee Mounger - fiddle, Claude Wooley - electric bass, Mike Atkinson - B3, Dulio Tani - clarinet, Geronimo Calderon - drums, Harlan Kubos - upright bass, Charlie Harrison - electric bass, Kevin Chubirka - drums. I sure hope I didn't forget anyone.
Influences
Too many to list! As far as songwriting, I have so many heroes. The top four in no particular order are Mickey Newbury, Larry Jon Wilson, Dolly Parton, and Willie Nelson. As for vocalists, I love the female singers that sing with their soul. (e.g., Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Janis Joplin, Emmylou Harris, Martina McBride, Tricia Yearwood) Many of them you only hear if you own the albums these days!
Sounds Like
People usually say Brenda Lee or a mix of two other various artists, with Stevie Nicks, Tanya Tucker, Dolly Parton, Lacy J. Dalton, & Lorrie Morgan coming in at the top of the list. I'm happy as long as my voice reminds them of any singer who has had past success.
^^^^THIS SLIDESHOW IS NEW...WITH A LOT OF PICTURES, BUT IT DOES TAKE A LITTLE WHILE TO GET STARTED! ^^^^

Thank you for the friendship. Country music has changed so much over the years…it sounds more like pop instead. I keep it country. Received several email/comments from myspace friends/fans letting me know that In Their Eyes was their wedding song. I was honored to appear at my first myspace wedding to sing this song as their wedding song & their first dance. Check out my video Bare Huggin’. Stop by for a listen and if you would like to buy one of my CD’s, please visit coltebradley.net
