Cornelia Amiri draws on her love of history and fifteen years of research on the ancient Celts, to write tales of long swords, hot heroes, and warrior women. Ms. Amiri is the author of four Celtic/Romance novels, The Fox Prince, The Vixen Princess, Danger Is Sweet, and One Heart One Way, published with Awe-Struck e-books. The latter was a finalist in the EPPIE 2004 Contest, the premier award for electronically published authors . She has an Amazon Short entitled Conquest which is now available and her next Celtic/Romance novel with Awe Struck, Druid Quest, will be released in the fall of 2008. Over a hundred of her short stories and articles have appeared in both print and on-line magazines. She lives in Houston, Texas with her wonderful son.
Nesta, a fiery, voluptuous, middle-aged widow,

But to Mabon's horror, Gwydion's ghost is called forth
from the grave on a quest to bring the sword-wielding widow together
with the dark, muscular warrior, and open their locked hearts with the
magic of love. Will these two warriors fight falling in love as hard as
they battle Saxons? Will love win in the end or has it met its match with
two hardened warrior hearts?

readers into the story from the first page with Lady Nesta’s
declaration of fighting alongside Arthur and his men. Readers will laugh aloud at
some of the antics of the ghost of Gwydion and Mabon’s reactions. Ms.
Amiri does a superb job developing the storyline and characters while
adding a few moments of humor. The battle scenes are not gory but will
leave readers chanting for King Arthur and his people. Lady Nesta’s
character although very headstrong is not overly so but just enough to prove
women can endure and survive battle. Mabon is not a typical historical
hero who scoffs at a woman’s attempt to fight but instead embraces
Nesta’s ability to honor her late husband. Fans of historical romance will
not want to miss The Vixen Princess for it is well deserving of its
