About me: Founded in 1993, The Chicago Underground Film Festival (CUFF) is a year-round organization dedicated to the work of film and video makers with defiantly independent visions. Unlike many other "independent" film events our goal is not to imitate old guard, market-driven events such as Sundance but Instead to focus on the artistc, aesthetic and fun side of independent filmmaking. CUFF promotes works that dissent radically in form, content and technique from both the tired conventions of Hollywood and the increasingly stagnant IndieWood mainstream. visit WWW.CUFF.ORG
Who I'd like to meet: Film and videomakers with defiantly independent visions. audienes who like to think and be entertained.Sponsors who want to help make this happen.

I think that a lot of people get lost in Hollywood. They become enticed with false glamour and empty promises; they lose track of their dreams. In the end, you find these folks, who are sometimes... sadly your friends - living this hazy self-destructive existence. The problem is that people just don't like to talk about this tragic aspect of cinema. They just want to hear about the winners. This is why I made this film. - Anthony Rivero Stabley
As we gear up for the fall and Halloween, I just wanted to invite you to the premiere of my vampire suspense thriller: "The Union".
We are meeting at Founder's Park in Centerville, Utah and please invite any and everyone. Here is the poster to print out and email them to everyone you know. This is for potential development for a feature film that we build awareness and get everyone there. Hope you see you there.
Again, this event is for everyone, potentially provide networking for nation-wide filmmakers, producers, and industry people - to gather and talk about their projects, meet talent, producers, and if anything, meet the cast and crew, and everyone can visit, chill, and have a good time.
Please come and invite the family and all your friends, and again, please email and get the word out and have all your friends do the same. This well-made, Hollywood quality short film is a unique vampire suspense drama/thriller no one will want to miss!!
