BIOGRAPHY
South Philadelphia's own, Latasha Sampson, is the owner and driving force behind Chocolate City, Philadelphias premier unisex salon and hair gallery. Chocolate City is the culmination of a creative endeavor begun by Ms. Sampson in June of 1999.
Ms. Sampson has been doing hair since 1988 when she entered the field as a shampoo assistant. It was at that time that she discovered her love for hair and dreamed of one day, owning her own salon. Since then, Ms. Sampson has been a student at the South Philadelphia Beauty Academy and has been trained in New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C.
Ms. Sampson also believes that in a field as ever changing as the health and beauty field, it is imperative that one keeps up with current trends and technologies. To this end, Ms. Sampson has been certified by such nationally known product brands as Aveda, Affirm Dudley, and Paul Mitchell.
Ms. Sampson believes in providing the highest quality of care and service to her customers. At Chocolate City you can count on finding a full range of services to meet your family & trades needs.
