Bio:

Up and coming producer Mes One has been putting in his work. Born Chris Vinson in San Francisco 1981 . He lived between London and New York for the early part of his life. A natural drummer, he played in a metal band for several years until he switched gears to hip hop and never looked back. At 18 he returned to his state of birth to study at the Los Angeles Recording School. Soon after this he returned to New York and got a job at famed Soundtrack Studios. He also opened up “The Mes Hall” in New York. Around this time, Illest-Rated Entertainment was born. The company was started from scratch in the streets of the Bronx by Mes and his neighborhood cohorts; among them Skinny Joints, DVS (Deadly Divisionz), Dub Sonata and Rich Mo. After years of tireless effort, Mes began meeting more and more people in the industry and started placing beats with a wider range of artists. He banged out hundreds of tracks with dozens of well-known and underground artists alike and started getting his name on more and more releases. Mes recently got involved in real estate and now manages the building that he used to rent his studio space from. Producers Buckwild , Scram Jones and Dub Sonata also call this same building home. Mes is about to release his first official release, “The Secret Recipe,” which will feature several notable guest artists over his dark and cinematic beats.
