Chris Envy

....Once deemed "the most arrogant rookie in the business", Chris Envy got his start in the wrestling industry in 2002 under the training of 'Lightning' Blind Mike (Michael J. Hunt) of AWA-Rocky Mountain Championship Wrestling(RMCW) in Littleton, CO. Under Hunt, Envy learned a great deal about the business both inside the ring and out. Chris was offered several opportiunites to grow with-in the company from creative team to promoting. As his pull with the RMCW grew, so too did the company itself. It was here that Envy was taught the basis for which all wrestling is grounded... respect.

Chris' in-ring training lasted all of 3-months before being tossed into a non-scheduled match after a veteran no-showed the event. His opponent was a fast rising hometown hero known as T.N.T. (Tommy 'Nitro' Taylor). Envy thought he was more than ready, however his in-ring performance would suggest otherwise.

From that day on Envy looked at wrestling in a new light. In a way that pushed him to want to learn as much as he could and be the very best he could be.

After working matches regularly for a few months with RMCW, Envy relocated to New York and started working several local promotions there. He worked every other week and continued to train under Chip Stetson at the 24/7 Gym. Eventually, they went under as most Indy promotions do and again Envy found himself looking for a home.

During his hiatus, Chris and his lovely wife Angela had a baby boy (Maverick). This lead Envy to believe he was done with wrestling as he now had to focus on being a 'family man'. However, on Christmas of 2005, Envy's oldest daughter Brooklyn was watching an old VHS tape and saw one of Envy's matches. Once she realized she was watching her dad, both she and Chris' wife convinced him to make a return to the ring. She saw the passion her Dad had and she wanted to see it again... LIVE!

Thus began his return to the ring and in January 2006, Chris Envy had made his return to the ring for Slam All-Star Wrestling (SAW) in Swanton, VT. Envy spent the next few months getting rid of the ring rust and getting back in shape.

Since then, Envy has wrestled for a wide array of Independent Promotions, some of which are listed on here.
