And so it begins...
CirclesenD began in 2002 when the band Downside split up. Marc and John decided to start another band, with a heavier sound. The job of bass player was offered to Andy Whiting, a good friend of Marc and John. They searched for a year to find a drummer that could compare to Danny, who had drummed for downside, when in 2003 Danny decided to join the band on drums. The group went into rehearsals, writing and developing the CirclesenD sound, when Andy left the band. Andy was quickly replaced as he asked his work mate Neil Silverman if he would like to be his replacement. And so CirclesenD were born and in the summer of 2004 they started to gig around Derby and Nottingham inflicting their distinct brand of metal on as many people as possible.
In 2005 Danny went away to University in Huddersfield, so drinking aquaintance of John's Dan Southall was brought in to the fold. Dans heavier style of drumming completed the CirclesenD sound perfectly and so the story continued for just over a year when Neil Silverman, the bands long serving bassist, decided it was time to persue other interests. Neil left the band with the full support of his former bandmates, all of whom wished him the best for future. This also bought a new lease of life for CirclesenD...
Stepping into the fold came Kieran Hennesee on Bass and a Full time Keyboard player in Anna. K. Simpson. The band have since been writing new music to further suit there progressive roots...The Story Continues
The premier of "A Taste Of Derby" is TOMORROW at The Vic Inn, Derby. As there's going to be many A Taste Of Derby events, it would be nice to have a good turn out at the 1st one!
Then AGAIN at The Vic Inn the day after, Monday 7th July with A Poetic Yesterday (signed to Rising Records!) & Waking Theo!

we have been quiet the last three weeks but we have been working hard on finishing new songs, street-teaming, and preparing for entering the recording studio again.
we are certainly NOT going to be quiet this weekend though..we shall be making plenty of noise this saturday at a biker festival in belper! its gonna be ace..bands, bikes, bars, tattooing, DJ, stalls, and camping! come hang out with us if you can deal with our drinking antics XD

TMH now have a four week break from gigs to give everyone a rest before kicking off the summer with festivals, charity gigs, and headline shows!
We will be using the four weeks to continue working hard towards our album which we are currently writing. We will also use the time to prepare for another slog back in the recording studios (a different studio to the one where we recorded our 7 track EP) so keep checking the myspace for a new song..its going to rip your head off!
The boys then return to action on the 5th July where we will be performing at our first festival since the infamous 'Hydraid' last September. This will be followed up by our headline gig at Junktion 7 (where we will be joined by the mighty SPEEDTHEORY) and our gig at speak easy the very next day. Then its off to worthstock festival in Yorkshire for another weekend of drink, music, and mental...ness.

**There are 85 bands playing this festival. We are playing on the Saturday night around 8pm on the main stage..with only 3 bands above us on the bill**
You can also state which band your mainly going to see when putting your name down for advance tickets for the show, so please make sure you put down Thy Insanity (if we are the band of course :P)

and for you local kids..we have two shows next week. we are headlining the factory at long eaton on wednesday the 7th, and take on hucknall in the BOTB semi finals (we scored 115/120 in the first heat..the highest score out of all the competing bands) on Friday 9th..so PLEASE do show your face!

in a nutshell..my band (www.myspace.com/twominuteshateuk) are playing our debut first 'hometown' gig this friday (the 27th july) at the vic in derby, and we are HEADLINING. this is literally 30 seconds walk from derby train station so easy to get to!
tickets are selling really well..certainly better than we had hoped but there are still some tickets left...available from me or another band or street-team member for 3 pound. alternatively, you can pay on the door for 4 quid instead :D
there are four bands on and its going to be a pretty insane night with plenty of drinking..deffo come along and see what its about :D and i will also buy a drink*

well, we aim to release an EP before Christmas, by which time we will have got many more gigs under our belt..we are currently in talks with another band with the intention of putting together a small tour early next year, and we have been invited to play a London open air festival in October...sharing the stage with Fightstar..that's Charlie Simpson's (the guy from Busted) new band. Also a new online merchandise shop is up and running (although designs are still being tinkered with etc), as is the band forum..and fingers crossed the professional website being made for us will be underway before the end of summer once the street-team is st

ive got my debut gig tonight with my band TWO MINUTES HATE! we scored a last second gig after the support band for 1000 scars who dropped out so we have stepped up to the plate.
its at the rack and roll snooker hall in LEICESTER and is in aid of 1000 scars' album launch party. its a big venue, and a big night for us so please please please come and support us if you can. kerrang are going to be there so you should be too :D

just a quick hello and update on my band, two minutes hate!
just finished an 8 and a half hour slog at the recording studio after deciding to show the world what we are made of ahead of our upcoming debut gig.
