Singer, songwriter born: 4th July 1987 Kettering Northamptonshire
CoConi sang before she spoke. Moving to L.A at 3 ½ years to find the American Dream, tragedy struck at age 6, when her father was killed in a car accident. Leaving her english mother and CoConi devastated. CoConi withdrew, refused to talk and developed learning disabilities. Home schooling was the way forward and music became her voice. At the age of 7, she appeared on L.A. Cable featuring in a talent show singing Disney covers.
Winning a music scholarship to a private school in the U.K. at the age 11, she studied contemporary vocal theory and practice for a year.
Returning to the U.S. this time to Florida buskin and performing circus skills for tips at the beach, she was talent scouted by John Cassablanca Modeling Agency where she studied T.V. and print. Auditioning, learning bass and performing regularly as a duo around Tampa Bay, Florida. CoConi eventually wrote and recorded her first song at 13 in the local Bowling Alley.
Entering college early at 15 back in the U.K.she studied Performing Arts for 2 years. CoConi formed her 3 piece band, did 250 gigs all around the midlands to fund her bedroom albums. This experience led to wining an
ASDA music competition, the prize, a fully produced recording of her pop song “Be on the Train”. This song caught the attention of the local media and at 18 she was invited to open for the likes of Natasha Bedingfield; James Taylor Quartet and Production of the Bouncers. This incurred her to being nominated for band of the month on BBC Radio Northampton Weekender.
Introduced to Ed Gilmour (The Wishplants), the collaboration of Ed’s music, CoConi’s lyrics and melodies crafted her debut album “Venusian Butterfly” over a 2 year period. The first single “Get Your Light Up” got to number one on Chris Doelle’s PMC Countdown of 200,000 listeners, and became the 19th most played single in the whole podcast network of 2007.
More recently in the U.S. CoConi did a solo tour of Starbucks; opening for PM Dawn; provided the female vocals on Jerome Bigfoot Brailey’s (Parliament, Funkadelicks) new RnB project and was invited to open at the film festival of “American Teen” in Orlando.
At 21 CoConi has returned from the U.S, has finished recording extra tracks for her live performance and is ready to tour her debut album "Venusian Butterfly".
"Venusian Butterfly" contains 12 tracks. The cd also is a multi media disc containing a music video, artwork and lyrics (multi meadia feature only usable on PC's). It can be purchased through paypal and your hard copy sent to your home address for £8.99 including postage and packaging.

The raft began to sink. I saw an uncommonly orange funny box float toward me in the bathub so I grabbed hold of it. I was able to stay above the water but my striving attracted the attention of Mr. Bear.
