Frontman Merle Peterson moves and sings like Cash, with power and composure, with an intensity and focus- more calculated than contrived. He's a conjurer of sorts, evoking the essence of Johnny Cash in song and spoken word. Merle is joined by a stellar band- Jeff Carroll (Bass / Trumpet) and Felipe Torres (Drums)- whose unparalleled comprehension of Cash music goes far beyond just the notes- into subtlety, nuance, and proper tone. The COLD HARD CASH Show captures the look, feel, and sound of 'Folsom Prison' era Cash.
