Glad I found you. I'm back in Minnesota after a fun weekend of LilFest in Evanston and sloggying around in the rain. Best part, playing with Michi and her violin. Hope you're in the vacinity the next time.

    Hi Conrad,
    Thanks for the friendship. S.L.

    The Man in the Mask

    The man in the mask,
    Who can he be?
    He hides all his feelings,
    Don’t want us to see.

He doesn’t want us to ask
    What he feels down inside.

    All alone with his problems,
    He’d rather just hide.

    The mask wears a smile,
    Underneath he’s in tears.

    Fighting his emotions,
    Fighting his fears.

    He’s hiding the abuse
    He endured in his youth.

    Won’t deal with his torture,
    Will not face the truth.

    Others just see him
With a grin on his face.

    While his mind is screaming,
“Get me out of this place.

    He often wonders
    How he can find peace.

With the drugs and the alcohol,
    Problems seem to increase.

    But he wears his mask
    Every day just the same.

    Hiding the hangover,
    Hiding the pain.

    He hopes someday
He won’t wake in the morn.

    Wondering, “Why?”
    He was ever born.

    His family says prayers
    Almost every day.

Save the man in the mask,
    Please don’t take him away.

    The man in the mask,
    Who can it be?
    It could be you,
    Or maybe it’s me?

    S.L.

Our motto: You can never have enough actors

Come join us on Wednesday nights, get to know us, experiment with new characterizations. We're a developmental group and when we do staged readings, like the one pictured below, we pick from the actors who have come and spent time with us.

Honored to be your new friends. Thanks for being ours, Conrad.

Folks, if you want to take your country back, you first have to take your media back, because right now it's being controlled by those with more of a political agenda than a news agenda. The media is supposed to be the people's watchdog, not the GOP's lapdog.

And that's where we come in, and we're counting on your support. Please visit our MySpace page and become our friend. No matter which side of the political aisle you're on - and whether you like it or not - we're all in this together.
