About me: Hi, I'm Deb. Pottery is my passion. It's my hobby and one of the main ways I express my self. I love symbols. They are a psychologically deep and universal language. They are ancient, evolve over time and cross cultures. I especially like Celtic symbols. My heritage is Welch and so I suppose it's an inherited thing. I hope you enjoy viewing my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
Who I'd like to meet: Other potters and also those interested in Celtic Christianity. I'm also interested in discussing symbols with others. Edited at LunaPic.com
Nollaig Chridheil Huibh…. What is Christmas? It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace. May you know all these things this Christmas, beloved friend.
“I climb to the tower-top and lean upon broken stone, A mist that is like blown snow is sweeping over all, Valley, river, and spruce, under the light of a moon That seems unlike itself, that seems unchangeable, A glittering sword out of the east.” ~~Yeats
The full light of the moon danced for me over the Wintery peaks and I was whole once more…may you be guided by Light, dearest friend.
Giving into my need for solace and reclusiveness, I have been absent from you, my friend….but Denali showed her beauty to me and as I sat under her splendour, I was reduced to a mere speck of existence…and it was as a gift for me. Sharing this with you now and as often as I can – may the rest of yon week be beautiful.
Thank you again for your supportive words. It really means a lot coming from you as you are of course, more knowledgeable and older than me. :) I am very familiar with that famous phrase - I couldn't really appreciate until now, though.
I can only imagine what it will be like to have a child and then let him or her go out in the world. haha I can preach all I want, but I haven't been through that yet. I just hope I make the right decisions.
