<br />TODAY IS THE ASB POLYFEST.... IF UVE NEVER HEARD OF IT, WELL IT'S THE BIGGEST POLYNESIAN FESTIVAL & ITS ALWAYS HELD HERE IN AUCKLAND. IT'S A CUTURAL FESTIVAL FEATURING 5 STAGES OF COMPETITIVE SECONDARY SCHOOL (HIGH SCHOOL/ COLLEGE) CULTURAL GROUPS. THE POLYNESIAN STAGES ARE MAORI STAGE, COOK ISLAND STAGE, TONGAN STAGE, NIUEAN STAGE & SAMOAN STAGE. MY NIECE HAS JUST PERFORMED IN THE COOK ISLAND GROUP FOR OTAHUHU COLLEGE, I'M SO PROUD OF HER. SHE IS JUST TOO AWESOME, EVEN THOUGH ITS NOT OUR CULTURE WE SURE KNOW HOW TO SWING OUR HIPS HAHAHA IT'S A REAL HOT DAY TODAY AND IF YOUR EVER IN NZ IN MARCH NEXT YEAR AND YOU WANNA SEE CULTURE AT ITS BEST...LOOK OUT FOR THIS FESTIVAL.

Ah, as you know I like telling MySpacers about my day. Since i'm on this daily it seems better to send out what i've done in the day than keep a diary lol

I got 2 and didn't accept them. I have this thing where if I like a fan page i'd go searching basically because that's what it is.. A Fan Page lol
Well, 2moro is shopping for an outfit for this weekend. I'm gonna blend my twin cousins 30th bday theme "Dirty Thirty" with St. Patricks Day... although its next week, we'll be celebrating St. Paddys this Sat at the same time.
I had to babysit my niece, and watched her favorite Disney movie - Lion King... so as you can imagine I was being cool Auntee, singing the songs with her lol (hey, it was just us home so we could be as loud as we like haha) now i got this time to message before dinner, going out for dinner and there's gonna be extended family there that my sister doesn't get along with so...hmm it should all work out but if it doesn't I still got MySpace via Phone lol

Having a cruisy Saturday... had an adventurous Friday night though. The theme was "Golden Butterfly" it was for my cousins 30th birthday... shes a twin and her twin brother is celebrating his 30th next weekend. His theme is "Dirty Thirty" hahaha (well you know I love themed partys, it shapes the party atmosphere lol)
I wore gold jeans and an hour into the party my zipper broke hahaha and asked the host if she had a safety pin and I was out of luck... Lucky I had the brain to text my sister to bring one.. when she arrived with safety pin.. i was soooo relieved haha
After going to the bathroom I had to re-pin my jeans and i placed pin on the basin and then accidently hit the pin into the basin by moving some of the bloody products that were scattered.. and it left me in an "OMG" state of mind hahah so yep, just like that the pin was a goner hahaha
So I ended up spending the night in gold short shorts, well practically gold undies (major malfunction haha).. What I should have done was when I texted my sister I shouldve told her to bring a whole new wardrobe of clothes... haha
My own 2 morals of this adventure 1. Always have back up 2. Don't get caught without your pants hahaha
Wanna add anymore morals to that?? haha But i'm ok, i turned gold undies into a trend hahaha
[INSPIRATIONAL] Do not undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others. It is because we are different that each of us is special. Do not set your goals by what other people deem important. Only you know what is best for you. Do not take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as you would your life, for without them, life is meaningless. Do not let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past nor for the future. By living your life one day at a time, you live all of the days of your life. Do not give up when you still have something to give. Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.
