Crushed Velvet is greatly influenced and owes their musical roots to: The Eagles, The Beatles, CCR, Three Dog Night, The Moody Blues, Motown, The Doobie Brothers and all of the great bands of the 70's.

To many of you, the name Crushed Velvet has a familiar ring. If you were lucky enough to be part of the music scene in Louisville, KY doring the 1970's and early 80's you probably attended an event where Crushed Velvet played. The great news is that after many years apart, original members of this band are now back together and rockin' again.
The band consists of Danny Darnall (keyboard & vocals), Rick Meredith (bass and vocals), Rich Egbert (lead guitar and vocals), and Terry Dick (drums and vocals). These guys can rock and are still playing the best of the Doobies, Eagles, CCR, Beatles and many more of your favorite groups.
