LOVED THE 80's.
Keeping 80's music ALIVE in the NY Capital Area. I am the keyboardist for Albany's Premier 80's Rock Band "Meltdown", a 5 piece rock band playing all your favorite songs from the 80's and some originals. Check us out if you get a chance. I also play in another band called "Even The Odd" and play keyboards and am the lead singer of that band. A little bit about me. I toured in the mid to late 80's in the Northeast and Canada. Bands I performed with were, NY Asylum, Section 8 and Rokken. Met plenty of celebrities including Stephen King, Aerosmith, Zebra and Fabulous Thunderbirds to name a few. Lots of road stories. Tried out for Star Search and made it past the first round and then things went south. Someone stole our bass players van and we found it the next day burned at a dump in Vt. That was the demise of that band. I was with the house band at the Office Bar in Plattsburgh NY for about 5 years in the early 80's. Moved back to Plattsburgh in the late 80's and managed a music store for 2.5 years still playing in misc. weekend warrior bands. Decided to leave Plattsburgh around 96 and move to Albany NY. Played with Jukebox Heroes out of Glens Falls, Davinci from Plattsburgh, Joe Mama Band from Glens Falls, and now with Meltdown and Even The Odd from Albany, NY.
