Evocative, poignant, moving...
all words used to describe this artist's music. These skilled arrangements and incisive lyrics will capture your mind and fill your heart, taking you to the essence of life and leaving you feeling like you've just had a long, deep conversation with an old friend.

Being a self-taught guitarist and songwriter,  Dave was born under the sign of Cancer - ruled by the moon and emotions - and uses his empathetic nature to tap into life, extract it's essence, and cafefully place it into his songs.  When he finally let the energy of the universe start writing for him, acknowledging the inspiration that comes in the middle of the night, feeling compelled to capture clever snippets, he trusted the higher powers to make sense of it all and songs started emerging with a sense of purpose.

Some songs write themselves in an hour, others linger for months, waiting for the right experience to happen. The lyrics are so captivating that audiences invariably sing along as they hear songs for the first time, and it's apparent that many also connect to their sentiment.

Writing about his experiences proved to be an exercise in introspection, much of it coming out as poetry as well. Sharing with others brought that introspection to a place of healing and personal growth, building confidence and character along the way.

Dave also has a passion for causes and has written and performed for various non-profit organizations. He's constantly working toward his dream of using music to help bring awareness and support to important causes. His upcoming CD, 'Music For A Cause', will highlight his songs in support of women's abuse, fighting cancer, equality, child abuse and other social issues.

But not all cause-related songs have to be serious. You can see Dave's effort in support of animal welfare called 'A Dog'z Lyfe' at www.myspace.com/adogzlyfe.

He is also the founder of Musicians for a Cause (
www.m4ac.org) and the New Hampshire Songwriters Association.
