Gregory "D" Blake founded G wood entertainment 1999. G wood entertainment is a major artist management marketing & promotions company located in Florida. Over the years Gregory D. Blake CEO of G wood entertainment has has been instrumental in many large campaigns and has worked with projects in connection with the labels with artist like Young Jeezy, Plies, Blood Raw, Haitian Fresh, C Side, J Shin, Cashmere, Kia shine, Ball Greezy & many more.
D.Blake started out in the business 1999 at the age of 17 years old as a club promoter & performer in hometown Rochester, NY putting together show cases an concerts for the local community. After discovering that it will be almost impossible to get the exposure that was sought after D.Blake relocated to Florida in search of stardom an discovery.
Gregory "D"Blake went into internship with a regional magazine company distributing over 50,000 magazines a month "Ace Magazine". After being in the mist of so much music industry activity D.Blake met up with Producer Top Cat former manager of the franchise boyz, Trill ville, C Side and current manager of Natural disaster the producer of Soljia Boy- Turn my swag on. D.Blake then went on to become a radio DJ & personality for wjfp 91.1fm covering 150 miles of the south Florida coast. Radio put D.Blake in the position to personally work with many major record labels and artist an breaking many records and artist through radio & record promotions.
After breaking many records D.Blake signed management agreements with R&B singer "J SHIN" & Brooklyn, NY Recording artist "CASHMERE" and has parted ways with them both as of June 2009 now D.Blake has launched back out on to the music scene as a artist but also manages a team of producers "MIKE WHO" & "MYSTIC". Kustom A.K.A MnM productions.
D.Blake is also the creator of the DJ & MEDIA CONFERENCE CALL call that brings together over 200 attendees nationally on a call in order to break new records. D.Blake has hosted over 50 Conference calls and has had recording artist BOBBY VALENTINO, SHAWTY LO,B.G, BLOODRAW, PALL WALL, LIL KEKE, BALL GREEZY, PICCALO, DROP, J SHIN, KIA SHINE, CASHMERE, TJ CHAPMAN, C WAKELY, RON BROWZ, OJ DA JUICE MAN, DJ UNC, NIKI MINAJ, SPIDA LOC, DIRT MOUTH, TOP CAT & MORE.
