Diamond Legit grew up in the South of Holland. Having a keen ear for dope music he developed a vast musical knowledge with influences spreading from classical music, funk, soul and hardcore boombap. At a young age, he began acquiring a large collection of records. He had developed a passion for producing, with which he started in 1996, and he soon formed a rap group called Heavy Artillery Squad with oldtime friend AK-Mal. The group dropped an album "Move the Barriers" in 2007.
Diamond's productions often consist of many layers, very well integrated, and are strictly boombap with a cinematic feel to them.
