DJ Kelly Jay kicked off her career in style with a monthly residency at After-Dark, which she began in 2007 and has since then played for local brands such as Bohemia & Tranzaction, plus midlands super-club Passion, The Gallery at MOS & Collision, alongside her residency at After-Dark and regular shows on FrequencyFM.co.uk.
For over a year and a half she has been co-promotor of After-Dark, a hugely successful trance / house & hard dance night in the South West. In that time, she has worked closely with popular brands such as Slinky, Goodgreef, Koolwaters and Tranzaction. Her passion is for trance and tech-trance, anything from warm up and progressive up to driving and uplifting, but her talent and ability have seen her play other genres including house and electro.
Kelly started clubbing in 1999…traveling all over the country week in week out to watch her favourite DJs play. On realising her passion for DJing 5 years ago, she invested in record decks, then later started again upgrading to CDJs in 2007.
Production wise Kelly has released 1 track under the name High Density, plus tracks "Believe In Me" & "White Horizon" along side Ryeland and Tom Costelloe, which were released on Transfusion White, and most recently her collabs with Ryeland - 'Spirits connect' which was featured in the top 10 on track it down with support from Above&Beyond on trance around the world, plus 'voice of reason', both released on Abstract recordings.
Kelly Jay has been DJing since late 2007, and with this many achievements already, we can expect her to take the UK trance scene by storm in the coming year.
