RADIO! First of all, I'm loud. It's quite appropriate that I get paid to spew word vomit on thousands of people daily. And I can't imagine doing ANYTHING else for a living, except maybe writing.
WRITING! It comes easily to me. I can say things I would normally never say in person. With written word, I can be a bit more assertive, which I'm normally afraid to be. Have you ever experienced an email, blog entry, or "infamous rhyme" from Lisa G. Licious? If not, you are missing out.
MUSIC! I'm a sucker for lyrics. I wish I could sing--er, well. Oh, I can belt it out in the car and the studio like nobody's business, but your dog will howl. It's too bad because the soul and stage presence of a pop star reside in me. Will someone allow me to let her out? For the love of crap, they let PARIS HILTON record an album… I'M NEXT, dammit!
CLUBS! I love clubbin' it up! The music, the lights, the drinks, the atmosphere! Dancing with my girls and teasing boys (by NOT dancing with them, lol) is where it's at! Clubs are the best! Especially when I got a mic in my hand! I miss TINK'S in Scranton! I was always spoiled there! Miss the crew! (We always had a blast!)
WINE! I'm still learning specifics, but I love it! Whites, reds, sulfites and legs… it's all yummy. And it gives you a completely different buzz than other booze. Wine buzzes are an amazing entity all their own.

BOWLING! I will kick your butt! I spent every Saturday morning from 6th through 12th grade on a junior league! I'm a little out of practice these days, but I can still beat boys—and that's all that matters.

I don't care what people think of me! I am who I am--take it or leave it! However, I still tend to take things personally. I'm working on that!

I can relate almost anything to an episode of F*R*I*E*N*D*S. My friend Liz and I do this all the time. It's quite scary.
I'm quite passive and try to avoid confrontation, but once you spark the competitive flame in me, I'm akin to Monica Geller on F*R*I*E*N*D*S. (See?)
I exude an air of happy-go-lucky, but don't underestimate my petulance.

Random G. Licious Thoughts
-It bothers me when there's a scene in a movie or a TV show taking place at 5:00 AM and the sun is shining brightly. Have you ever been awake at 5:00 AM??? The sun is NOT shining! It's still pitch-ass dark out! (And if I'm up, which is not very often, I'm damn cranky and need coffee).
-Wash your hands after you go to the bathroom! I mean, honestly. I'm not a germophobe, but it's just gross if you don't!
-Celebrities get free stuff. Constantly. And it's usually expensive free stuff. THEY have the money to buy this crap!! I DON'T!!! Why not give it to me instead???? I'm just saying.
-I hate snow and winter. You'd think I'd be used to it by now, but I can't stand it. I really shouldn't live in the northeast.
-Thunderstorms are one of the most amazing wonders of nature. I'm obsessed with them!!!! I will more than likely die from getting struck by lightning--probably through a radio station console, zapping me through my headphones, lol. But I'll never win the lottery.
-My biggest fear is that I'll get the hiccups and they'll never go away. Don't laugh! Weird things like that happen--and it would be my luck.
-It seems that when one shoe is untied you must then re-tie the other one, too, because if you don't, the tightness factor is no longer commensurate to the one you just tied. Annoying.
-I support GLBT equality!!! With the exception of a couple states, it kills me that people who love each other can't get married anywhere in the "land of the free." I hope for the day when ANYONE can walk down the aisle regardless of orientation.
*BOTH OF MY GRANDFATHERS! Mom's father, Stanley, died two months before I was born. Dad's father, Louis, died five days before I was born.
*RYAN SEACREST! HE'S MY AMERICAN IDOL!!! I wanna talk radio stuff with him!
*BRITNEY SPEARS. I will always love and support her no matter what! I'm SO glad she's doing better! I knew she would! She's strong, tenacious, and absolutely amazing. I admire her so much. When I meet her someday, we'll totally go shopping and do girlie stuff! It'll be fun!
*Derek Jeter. I'd slap his hot rear. (Him and the rest of the NYY! Yummy baseball boys!)
*Bill Clinton. Because, OMG, he's like my most favorite President EVVVERR. But I'd probably say it a little more maturely than that, lol. We're Alpha Phi Omega Brothers! And I'd ask him to play his saxophone for me! (Once a band geek, always a band geek!)
*Barack Obama. Because YES WE CAN and YES WE DID! He's gonna be an amazing leader for this country!
*Hillary Clinton. I love a woman who can show men who's in charge! Ha ha! But seriously, I respect everything she's done!
*Michael J. Fox. I adored him when I was 8! Huge fan of all his work. He's a strong and amazing person for publicly dealing with Parkinson's disease.
*Justin Timberlake. He's very hot and talented. And I think probably kinda cocky, however, once he knows we share a birthday--and that it was mine first--he'll be totally kissing MY butt.
*Westlife and Backstreet Boys. To tuck me in and sing me lullabies.
*John Mayer. He's one funny dude from CT with a sexy voice.
*Zac Efron. Totally adorable. Totally too young for me. Totally a boy toy. Need I say more?
*Simon Cowell. Just so I can sing obnoxiously, he can rip me a new one, and I can contemplate in person why exactly his meanness somehow makes him hot. Must be the accent.
*Perez Hilton. The man is a GENIUS. Famous for picking on famous people. I love it. His site is FILLED with great show prep! I think he'd be like so fun to hang out with, too!
*The entire cast of F*R*I*E*N*D*S. Just cuz they rock the most!
*A LIFE-SIZE POOL OF SOUR CREAM! If I could SWIM in sour cream, I'd be a happy girl!
