I'm afraid the tragedy you've been writing is actually pure farce.

   PB's Blurbs
About me:
I'm a collector of stuff that most folks ignore
You know that one man's ceiling is another man's floor
I've got gadgets and junk up to my knees
But it's just like finding buried treasure to me, yeah

I got a white elephant
I got a red wagon
I got a blue hula hoop
That nobody else can use

You shouldn't worry too much about what's in style
Cause it'll only be there for a little while
I used to think that the girl was heaven sent
But to her I guess I was a white elephant, now

I got a white elephant
I got a red wagon
I got a blue hula hoop
It's nothing I can't use

If you ever want to crawl under a great big stone
Have you felt that where you lived was not a home?
Now don't you sit in the corner and whine and moan
If you're a white elephant then you're not alone

I got a white elephant
I got a red wagon
I got a blue hula hoop
I got a green beret

I got a white elephant
I got a red wagon
I got a blue hula hoop
That nobody else can use
Who I'd like to meet:
Blogging once a millenium as The Unblinking Ear, DJ Paul Bruno is the best kind of music snob--he knows the hits AND the deep cuts that make you want to take somebody, anybody, home.

I've been reading your blog a lot lately. It's definitely some of the most informed and well written blog music writing around today. Somehow that came out sounding like a back-handed compliment when it wasn't meant to be...

I can assure you that my comment was sincere, as both your blog and PopTartsSuckToasted are two of my first stops when I turn on my internets in the morning.

You sir, have one of the best music blogs on the web. I've been introduced to so many new bands because of it; the music/blog world owes you a great debt that it may never be able to repay.

If tomorrow comes and you fail to make more interesting plans, let's indulge in the local cultcha. I'm making oatmeal rasin cookies for the kids, there might be some in it for you.

I understand the craving, but take it from a former food servant in establishments both haute and humble, restaurant ketchup is scary business. Be wary of any that isn't home made, arrives sealed up in a new bottle or tossed at you in heremetic squeezie packages. Recycled ketchup is second in nastyiness only to mayonaise that has been "milked". Ick.

I'm back on myspace and ready to recolonize your comments section. Now if I could only harvest some wit from somewhere among all the crap I should be shelving instead of wasting time on myspace...
