I have many different influences from across all different sides of music, like house, electro even classical music. But main hardcore influences would be like Slipmatt, Breeze & Styles, UFO, Sparky & many more.

Alex Ridge known as Sytronik, has recently risen to become one of the new stars of hardcore scene. Over the last two years, Alex has played across the UK & Europe and has been dubbed by Slipmatt as the “Godson of Hardcore”. At only 20, he has conquered so much, many people can only dream of.
In the late nineties, Alex discovered house music and took a huge liking to UK Garage, which was the main music of the time in his home town of Southend. Over the next year, garage had become a huge main stream music in which Alex carried on buying all the top tunes that were being played across the country. After garage had died down, Alex took a liking to rock music, which had then got him into Drum & Bass by his uncle, still loving the hard fast pace music, in which took him in a new direction of music. In that time, Alex was filling up his record collection with records from the likes of Hype, Dillinga, Andy C, Mikey Finn & DJ SS.
In 2003, it was then he began to listen to the vibes of hardcore music, after finding a mix online, which starts the hardcore journey. Alex once again took a change of direction and started buying all the records from all the top labels. Over time, Alex started to play on internet radio shows, but it was time that Alex started getting more involved with the scene and start making his own music.
Alex went on to make his first tune after venturing into Fracus’s studio to make “Kick It Hardcore”, which had become exclusively released on Devastate’s CD of Hardcore Reunited.
Over the next year, Alex started to play more regularly out and still wanted to carry on the production side. He then teamed up with Sparky to make “Ittin ard” & “Rock the Rhythm” which were some of the tunes being played out by the likes of Seduction, Slipmatt, Stu Allan & air play on digital radio, in which Alex did a guest mix on Stu Allan’s hardcore show on Pure Dance. This was then the time in which when Slipmatt spotted something in this new young man.
Slipmatt, then went on to sign “I Try” & “Rock the Rhythm” to his well respected label, Universal Recordings. Over the next few months, Alex had started receiving bookings from some of the biggest hardcore raves such as Raindance, Tasty & Moondance. He also was made resident at one of the longest leading raves Vibealite. For his hardcore sets he has teamed up with good friend MC Spenno, to bring the crowd a brand new duo.
Over the last 10 months, Alex & Sparky have now formed a huge partnership and have created huge rave anthems in which many of their tracks now feature on many of the big hardcore albums that our out today, with releases on the likes of Universal, Ufology and also signed to one of the biggest dance labels ever, Nukleuz.
Alex can be seen most weekends playing across the UK hitting ravers with his fast paced euphoric hardcore sets. He can also be seen to play other styles of music as well such as funky house, scouse bounce house & his first love UK Garage. In 2006, Alex was taken by the godfather to play at the 2nd favourite party in Ibiza, “Slip Back in Time” at the trendiest club on the island and will return once again in 2007, also making a stop over in Magaluf. He also has planned with MC Spenno, a tour of Poland with a Far East tour being planned.
With bookings across the globe, releases on huge record labels, he has the world at his feet and is ready to conquer it.
