Well at first it was the likes of Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk etc but now my modern day influences are Rob Cain ( Scratchmaster of Liverpool ), Karl Gwynn and Lee M.
I first started "DJ-ing" around the age of 10 with a set of HomeMix CD Decks mixing one track from Wigan Pier into One off a Kiss Essentials CD. Since then my ambition for Music Production and DJ-ing has grew to the highest peak. At the moment i own a KAM in a Box (KAM DDX200) With a standard 2 channel mixer, this is plugged directly into my stereo which im using as an amp and also into my computer so i am able to record live sets etc.
I also make my " own " music. Some of them, i agree, may not be top notch but i am willing to kick up a gear or two if it means becoming a succesful DJ/Producer. I am self taught in Ableton Live which is the application in which i make my tunes.
If you would like to know any more about me or DJ-ing/Production in itself dont hesitate to ask =) - DJ_Smurf@hotmail.co.uk
