About me:

Never really put much here before, so now here is a little about me:

Most of you know me as Mr.Re or DJ Mr.Re, I am also know as the owner/founder of Uncensored Us LLC and some of you know me as Ryan. I am Ryan, and have been since March 27th 1981. That is who I am always, regardless of which way you may know me. I am a person who cares greatly about the people around him, a person that can sometimes forget the ways he is capable of effecting those around him, and also a person that is not afraid to admit when he is wrong, nor afraid to apologize when proven to be.

I started Uncensored in 2007 (technically 2006 two small events in 2006 and if you get super technically 2000 1 small event). The primary purpose was just being able to do something that I love, and loved being a part of when I was younger. Uncensored is solely a labor of love, and will continue to be so as long as all of you continue to show your support for the things that you also love.

We are currently made up of a small collection of DJ's that hold the same or similar ideals about what we do and how we do it. Meaning, that we do it for the music and the people that also enjoy the music. We support and appreciate, any and all forms of electronic music even though we sometimes favor the heavier styles.

I have been going by the name Mr.Re since about 2001 and my current primary focus is drum and bass and will continue to be until some reason has been found to play another genre of music.

Drum and Bass is not the only style that I have been seen playing, or enjoy playing. My collection is mixed up of many genre's of music, and you can sometimes catch me getting my arm twisted in to playing a one off set. Most recently, online in the Uncensored AIM chat room, and a few other smaller events, I have played breaks(mostly older tunes), Hard trance once (old stuff), dubstep, or pretty much anything that I randomly feel like throwing out there. I try not to limit myself, and it's really not hard considering that I enjoy the majority of electronic music.

I do produce some tunes and give them out to friends or sometimes play out. I have never pushed for any of my tunes to be put out or released, however I have recently come in to some small opportunities to just that. It's not a focus of mine, and if it happens, it happens. You will still catch me playing out some of my productions, or a RARE live chill out set, weather its by myself or as a part of my other project with HACK, know as Ultra Violent. As with the music that I DJ, I do not limit the genres of music I produce.

I was 14 years old when I had my first influential experience with electronic music. I couldn't even tell you what the event name was, but it was the first night that I learned to appreciate raves and rave culture. That event, and the ones experienced over the next 6-7 years shaped the majority of my ideas, thoughts, and views of such events. Those years of my life (mostly between 14-20) were also some of the roughest years that I can remember, however they are the ones that have made myself and our events who and what they are today.

In those years there was a true feeling of really being a part of something, and really being a part of the people around you. I honestly can't say that there was ever a time back in those days, that I met a person that wasn't nice or at least in first impressions. However, being nice doesn't always mean that you’re not sleazy, shady, sketchy, or slightly psychotic; my point is that there was a common feel of acceptance, and the ego's amongst the majority seemed to be null.

I love all forms of music. I appreciate them all, even though some I just can't listen to. I play drum & bass, but I like to listen to a lot of chill out, dubstep, or anything that will ease the mind and the stresses of life. Most of my drum and bass performance are just a pure release of my stresses in life. Drum and Bass is my release.

My girlfriend, future wife, and soon to be mother of my child, means more to me then anything else in life, she holds me together as a person, and reminds me of all the things that I want to be and make of my life. Some of those things do involve music and continuing to promote events and shows. 2 days ago we learned that Shannon is pregnant 2/23/09. Our child is expected due in mid October. Even though this scares the hell out of me, and means a lot of change, I have come to realize the good that will come out of it, and I appreciate that.

This is a shock to both her and I, and possibly a few doctors, as we together thought for the last 8 years that this was an impossible scenario due some health issues.

I am slowly allowing myself to be excited about this, and ready to accept the challenge, and I know those of you close to me will give your support when its needed, so I thank you now.

I truly love all of those close to me, those who show their support and anybody that shares a smile in passing.

There is a lot more and maybe someday I will add more, but for now that is enough for you to get the point. Hopefully some of that will mean something. Respect those around you and in return you will be respected.

This one is mislabeled. It was Hack, Arion, Nik.One, and myself.
