April 6, 2006 Jeff Durand was reluctantly dragged to an afterhours club in NYC called Crobar (RIP)....he didn't listen to much "techno," but agreed to go because there was a hip hop room. After a few drinks, he walked through the infamous tunnel to hear the sounds of Danny Tenaglia....nothing has been the same since. He lives for house music; spending most of the money he makes selling deejay equipment on more deejay equipment or tracks he spends countless hours searching for. Although he has only been spinning for less than a year, his love for the music has not gone unnoticed and his career has taken off at a pace that impresses his supporters. Some people are haters and don't want him to shine....probably because their shit is weak and they can't handle some new competition ;-) . He is very fotunate to have some great friends in the scene and is thankful for every chance he gets to spin....In April of 2007 he became the resident DJ of Clublife Entertainment and made his debut at Coda Lounge thanks to his boy Tigga. You also may have caught him at Therapy, Shine, Coast Guard House, Energy, Brickhouse, various afterparties, and a slew of weddings. With a buzz building, the gigs are piling up and Jeff will undoubtedly keep dance floors alive with his blend of tribal, tech-house, minimal, and big room bangers. In between, you can be sure that he is a true student of the music....taking every lesson he can from the amazing sets of Victor Calderone, Eric Morillo, Richie Santana, Boris, and other deejays who have so much passion for this music.
