David Noller > aka "Scratch-D" is legend and a pioneer of the first wave of electro music in the United States. He has been creating electronic dance music for well over a decade, been spinning records since age 13 and has been a part of the electronic music scene since the mid 80's. He Hosted a Radio Show on Clear Channel 2001-2003 along with H-Bomb called the "Techno Beach Party" which was syndicated across the US and broadcast via the internet globally. His musical credits began with his first gold release "Just Give the DJ a Break" on Bass Station Records at age 18. He has toured the globe headlining festivals as Dynamix II for major sponsors such as Malboro, Big Red, Ford Motor, Sky Vodka and has released many underground dance floor records that have gone on to be timeless classics. Amongst the most noteworthy tracks, the hit single "The Red Pill" a collaboration with Infiniti on Freakin Music USA, Marine Parade UK. & The Crystal Methods "Community Service CD". ((You take the Red Pill, You take the Blue Pill)) continues to be re-released and re-edited by Adam Freeland's Label "Marine Parade" under various pen names ie. The Bass Bin Twins.

Dynamix II Biography

Miami's Legendary David Noller leader of Dynamix II, is among a very few of the first wave of American electro and bass music artists to have successfully translated their old-school credentials into new-school relevance. The producers behind classic roof-raisers "Bass Generator", "Feel the Bass", "Ignition," and the Gold Release selling over 600,000 units to date "Just Give the DJ a Break," carved out a signature niche in early electro with a kitchen-sink-style megamix approach, amplifying electro's energy level, deepening the low-end, and playing up its robotic themes with ample vocoded vocals.

The group was formed in 1985 by David Noller, a DJ who had just graduated Full Sail School of the Recording Arts in Orlando, Florida, Noller was immediately signed to Bass Station Records to record and release the Gold Record "Just Give the DJ a Break". Dynamix II appeared through a handful of other Miami labels before the pair set up their eponymous imprint in 1985. Although mostly of only local interest beginning in the late '80s, when electro died out in favor of rap, the determined group decided to forge foreward into the future releasing thier "Electro Bass" music and vowing to remain firmly rooted in the underground dance music scene. Nearly a decade later, U.K.-based label Rephlex -- owned by Richard James, aka Aphex Twin -- reissued "Electro Megamix", a collection of Dynamix II Releases from 1985-Present, a non stop all-in-one-place collection of their biggest tunes from over the years, originally released on the Joey Boy label in 1997.

A stream of new material, remixes and colaborations continue to appear from Dynamix II, most of their LPs and singles from throughout the years remain in print and are highly sought after by DJ's worldwide.

Available now on 12" black vinyl, limited green vinyl and digital download.

Rubadub Review:

"Politically charged electro from Miami producer Alpha 606, this is pretty wicked shit. The man is fusing the percussive Latin influence from 80's Miami Bass (Conga's etc) with the futuristic glitch-werk of say, early Schematic records. Proper Miami shit that manages to be booty shaking and chin stroking at the same time. Tip!"
