About me:
I just want a friend who will be there when I need them. Someone who will listen to me cry for hours and promise me that everything will be okay. I need someone who will never abandon me when it gets too tough. I need a friend who will stand with me during my worst times, as well as my best. I need someone who will be loyal to me and never take my friendship for granted.
I need a friend who when they plan a day to have fun, I’m not always left out. I need a friend who will ask me to hang out instead of me always being the one to pursue it; let me know that it’s okay that I want to be your friend and meet me halfway. I want someone who reassures me that I’m not wasting my time.
Product Broken
If there ever was a label
To describe who I am right now
It would read, "Product Broken;"
Ive been dropped too many times.
I look like Ive seen the world
With lots of stories to be told
Im mysterious with a tiny flare;
A toy you shouldnt play with
A promise of laughter and joy
That youll never really forget.
Underneath my fascinating glamour
Is a truth no one wants to hear
I stand and weave a pretty picture
That Ill be the best you ever had
But inside the fancy packaging
Is a maze of different cracks
Theyre held together by my pride
Homemade glue so I wont fall apart.
Youll pick me up and look at me
And stare at each and every tiny scar
I wear them like war paint every single day
And youll notice that it wasnt ever real;
Just a mirage of who I wish I was.
The closer that you get, the more I fall apart
Ill fall to tiny miserable pieces
And youll scuff your shoe in my remains
Cause more damage than I had before.
Another scar upon my tortured soul
One more reason for another to walk away
Muttering, that I just wasnt good enough.

i was hoping i could lean back and fall into your arms. instead i fell into darkness. dissolving reality. feeling hope. what do i have left to show? tears in my eyes and a broken heart. i am a tragic flaw. self loathing contradiction of everything i ever wanted to be. what do i have left to hold onto? blurred memories. visions of what i hoped could be a perfect reality. though a revolation, you're just as flawed as me.
